Is That Really What The Client Wants ?

My phone conversation with a perspective client last evening, prompted me to write about our chat. Now this person doesn't know me from a hole in the wall (old slang I heard as a child). Our conversation was intriguing and a reminder of  some important elements...knowledge,communication and compassion in today's business transactions.

Her concerns were genuine about her dealings when her home was listed for sale ....lack of knowledge, communication and overall effectiveness in job performed .She asked me to look at her expired listing on the MLS....what was my opinion of what I thought about the photos previewed for her home? Also how was I going to effectively word her listing ...being unique in its interior features. Basic skills should not be taken for granted..concentrating on client needs...listening closely to their concerns and arriving at a solution. This conversation last evening was a reminder of the importance of basic business skills....knowledge in field of work, communication and compassion. In my opinion...today's economic times have created an environment in which we must not take people or situations for granted.

A car wash has transformed into a fabulous popular Italian-American restaurant. Looking for a home cooked meal with an untraditional twist? The last three years Marie's Gourmet located at 977 Victory Blvd. has been the choice for delectable fresh cooked meals....popular with many of the locals. Do You Believe Home Ownership Matters ?

Do you believe our families and our homes are the center of the American Dream ? Are those homes... and our lives in them the focus of creating a beautiful, cozy functional way of living for the ones we love ?  How apropos for today Valentines Day... a day symbolic for love and caring. Home is the one place where we create our own environment that is unique to our own lifestyle. This belief of home ownership has been the American Dream for 234 years and is the core value of this country. Home ownership remains the American dream... you develop positive differences in people's family relationships and their finances while connecting to the community. Society benefits as well...studies have shown students from families that owned houses scored higher on Achievement Tests than those of families who rent. There also is a stronger community and civic connection .

Clearly from the 2010 NAR- Harris poll: Young adults do believe and are committed to one day becoming home owners. Following the path of their parents and grandparents .Young adults do feel it has been more difficult to achieve the American Dream... yet acknowledge doing so would provide a healthy stable environment for raising a family. In my opinion home ownership does matter...continuing to be the true value of our nation. Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoy today ...the day symbolic for love and caring. Real Estate News! Opportunity Strikes, Are You In ?

What happens when the Real Estate bubble bursts ? People generally don't like to talk or think about the value of their home.

Buyers and Sellers both have distress. Sellers... no offers, Buyers ... tough lending process. Have you thought about... a stigma created in Real Estate assets could lead to opportunity ? Some realize this is the core of smart investments. The time to act in Real Estate is now. In my opinion long term interest rates are not going to get much lower.   http://mortgageeguide.com/

The biggest concern comes to jobs. If the economy is not creating jobs, the housing market will have a tough time rebounding. No doubt it is difficult to buy a home without a job. People who are unemployed are not taking a long term risk. Right now opportunity strikes if you want to take a hit! Is recovery coming soon ? Time will tell. But do consider the possibilities of todays housing market situation.

In my opinion low mortgage rates, unknown market recovery create an opportunity for long term investments. Staten Island's "North Shore" has an ample selection of homes. Check out www.holly1.listingbook.com . And the best part is there are Sellers looking to negotiate! Ultimately yielding happy Sellers and happy Buyers. Opportunity strikes are you in ?
