AWESOME NIGHT! - First Visit to the New " YANKEE STADIUM"

Great evening, weather perfect fans excited and full of ENERGY!  My first time to the new Stadium, food was good,,

excellent escape and refreshing to feel the energy and excitement from the crowd.  Had a fantastic time!

Rick and I enjoying fantastic seating and wonderful weather with my daughter Marissa and Pete her fiance. Freddy sez.......  one of the oldest and most dedicated Yankee fans !  What a wonderful sense of spirit this man has, enjoyed watching Freddy greet all the children a few aisles away!

Awesome Stadium! New York Yankees* Check out The Sandman!

Enjoyed my 1st game at the New -  NEW YORK YANKEE STADIUM

The weather was fabulous with Yankee fever traveling through the air that super charged the Fans !!

Yankee fans young and old, have a wonderful energy that invigorates your mind, body and soul.

Awesome Lush Gardens & Giant Insects ! Staten Island's "NORTH SHORE" ??

                 If you have never been to the" NORTH SHORE" of Staten Island's  pride and joy you must visit !!

Snug Harbor Cultural Center is certainly Staten Island's pride !! On a recent visit I was reminded of how determination and hardwork

can only produce something as magnificent as this fabulous Cultural Center. Restorations have been on going for 30 years to develop a

regional arts center housing myriad museums and art programs.

This giant insect greets you at the entrance of the Staten Island Children Museum. I was standing under this fabulous tree arch in the Botanical Gardens at Snug Harbor, and then I wandered off to check out all the wonderful gardens throughout  this 83 acre property. This lush garden is located at the Carl Grillo Glasshouse  Botanical Garden within Snug Harbor. The visit  to Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island's "NORTH SHORE" community is definitely  worth the trip for refreshing your  Mind ,Body and Soul !

PICASSO Would Love This! Found In The NORTH SHORE OF Staten Island.

Entering this whimsical retro-hippy Bar-Restaurant is like going back in time. Locals gather at this NORTH SHORE  Staten Island establishment for great Mexican food and delicious drinks. Definitely a place to make you smile!

The outside of Burrito Bar is painted by a local artist, known for his fabulous American flag designs.

Also located on the NORTH SHORE of Staten Island is this mural dedicated to rescue 5 . Remembering the men for their bravery at

 

The World Trade Center . The mural is maintained and in pristine condition.

Viewing these works of art are very heart warming and a wonderful welcome for all who visit the NORTH SHORE of Staten Island.

Pure, Natural and Fresh-"How Delicious" !

Enjoyed my trip to the local Greenmarket in St. George this weekend. I purchased radishes that were the largest bunch I have ever seen! If you like fresh radishes  with" bite" sprinkle a  little salt and Enjoy!  Soo fresh and delicious.

Lots of fabulous fresh produce.. Charlie packaged my fresh sweet corn,broccoli and garlic. Mmmmm!

Taking advantage of this fresh produce brought back memories of my grandmother's vegetable garden. I would anticipate grandma's first tomatoe, carrot or bean. I felt like a little kid again, wanting all the fresh just picked goodies!

Available at St. George Greenmarket in the "North Shore" of Staten Island were all natural turkey products from DiPaola Turkeys Inc.,  I took Art's advice and purchased the fresh ground turkey and formed the burgers myself and grilled. I was in love the first bite, so yummy!!

New York's farmer's are an important part of our economy. I encourage you to visit some local markets. Farmers markets create a vibrant public space that brings community, friends and neighbors together.

I definitely enjoyed my visit to St.George Greenmarket located on the North Shore of Staten Island.  I will be back!
