New listings in Staten Island's North Shore over the last 3 months increased 7.2 percent to 179. Pending sales were up 33.3 percent to 24, year to date and closed sales up by 7.7 percent.
Housing inventory supply shrank in the North Shore in comparision to 2011.
Island wide housing inventory shrank 3.5 percent to 2,856 units.
